Lady Krystina Oromalis is Cherisa's mother and a self-proclaimed visionary with big plans for the Kingdom.

Krystina is a highly ambitious and manipulative sociopath, and it is likely that since she was unable to become queen herself, she lives vicariously through Cherisa. She is abusive, controlling and cares little even for her daughter's well-being, willing to have her harshly disciplined and is more interested in power and getting what she wants while seeing herself as a humble genius who knows what's best.
Story[]
Not much is known about Krystina besides her disapproval of Suki taking the throne as heir apparent since her daughter was heir presumptive before the former's adoption, something many in the nobility agreed with. Sometime before Suki's would-be coronation, she and the aristocracy conspired to have Suki killed and her daughter crowned instead. Cherisa, unwilling to kill her friend and adoptive family, instead opted to have her kidnapped and kept alive.
After Cherisa's coronation, Krystina used her daughter's position to prepare for an invasion of the Empire west of the Kingdom by reorganizing the Royal Army including the creation of a females-only detachment led by Captain Marcia, sending settlers led by Cilia to colonize the unclaimed resource-rich territories between the two lands and recruiting Aurealis Academy teacher Elda.
When Cherisa visits Florian to attempt to negotiate with the Empire, she reveals her mother's plans to Suki. Krystina, furious, orders her daughter be tortured by Rolina in the Dark Hills while setting up a cover story that Cherisa had fallen ill. Suki and her party rescue Cherisa and come face-to-face with Krystina who admits to being the lead conspirator in Suki's "death" and attacks. She is eventually defeated and taken to Velis Dungeons bound and gagged for her crimes; in the full ending and epilogue she is seen in one of the cells with Elda, Rielle and Rolina when Alyssa comes to rescue Dariana.

- Her husband and Cherisa's father are never mentioned.
- It is implied Krystina was not the only one who plotted to get rid of Suki and put Cherisa on the throne. However, her fellow conspirators are never named or revealed.
- During the Ask Me Anything FAQ when asked if Krystina was related to the royal family, Suki replied that she didn't remember if it was by marriage or blood as she took her husband's last name.
