Game difficulty is a new feature in version 1.6.

The list of differences between the difficulties is not yet complete. These are the known differences so far:

  • NPC's line of sight
  • The duration of Alert and Cautions
  • Enemies' skill usage (both which skills they use and how often they use them)
  • The EXP received from battle
  • The game difficulty is displayed at the end of a mission
  • The distance enemies need to be in order to be included in battles
  • The speed of the dot in the Damsel Ambush screen (some enemies only)
  • How much you can miss the dot in the Damsel Ambush screen and still get a hit
  • The cool down of the Mob Rush command.


In case you're interested in how the difficulties change this, here's another list:

EasyEdit

  • NPCs have a short line of sight.
  • The time you have to stay out of sight in order to go from Alert to Caution is shorter.
  • The time it takes for the game to end Caution mode is shorter.
  • Enemies use less powerful skills.
  • Enemies use skills less often.
  • You receive more EXP after you win a battle.
  • Enemies need to be closer in order to be included in a battle.
  • The Damsel Ambush dot moves slower for some enemies.
  • The Damsel Ambush hit box is bigger.
  • Mob Rush cool down is 2 turns.

NormalEdit

  • NPCs have a normal line of sight.
  • The time you have to stay out of sight in order to go from Alert to Caution is normal.
  • The time it takes for the game to end Caution is normal.
  • Enemies use moderate skills.
  • Enemies use skills at a moderate rate.
  • You receive a normal amount of EXP after you win a battle.
  • Enemies within a reasonable radius will be included in a battle.
  • The Damsel Ambush dot moves a little faster for some enemies.
  • The Damsel Ambush hit box is normal.
  • Mob Rush cool down is 3 turns.

HardEdit

  • NPCs have a long line of sight.
  • The time you have to stay out of sight in order to go from Alert to Caution is longer.
  • The time it takes for the game to end Caution is longer.
  • Enemies use more powerful skills.
  • Enemies use skills more often.
  • You receive a smaller amount of EXP after battles.
  • Enemies can be added to a battle from quite a distance.
  • The Damsel Ambush dot moves faster for some enemies.
  • The Damsel Ambush hit box is smaller.
  • Mob Rush cool down is 4 turns.


There might be an even harder difficulty in the future, but the details haven't been decided yet. However the difficulty is currently called "Impossible" and is already installed. It can be obtained through a cheat code if desired.
